My idea of a cooool wise woman's cottage. Step inside and sit awhile. Gather my thoughts and start to work.

Home today. My first day off to work on my school work.

Seem distracted. Put some books in Bookpedia, read parts of several young adult novels. Used the steamer on the dirty kitchen floor - it worked.

Know have to change focus to my edublog and my thesis for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

How?

Dragons aside....

An update on the novel. Oh well, not much to tell. Read several writing books at Borders today. Where shall I start, there is the rub??
And I say once more, stay tuned.

The Meaning of Dragons?

So what do dragons mean in fantasy? In romantic fantasy? Are they good creatures? old? or playful like the picture to the left?

I am enjoying this blog

Hi
I know I am typing into the universe, yet I enjoy finally producing a good blog.

How to proceed in this blog

I have enjoyed writing posts to this blog. Now have to get organized and concentrate on novel and thesis and my weight loss.

Update on Novel

Looking for the best software to help me write the novel. Not decided which program will work.

Hard to get beyond the basic interest and compile story.

Cathy and Verna enjoyed going to Taylor-Bray Farm

The two ladies I care fore really enjoyed picking blueberries. But there were not many to be had. Both were sad about this and were concerned about how they would be able to bake a blueberry pie on Wed.

Not to worry, Granny Smith Apples to the rescue!!!!!!!

Cathy and I dropped Verna off at her home, then got back to Cathy's home by 3:45 PM.

On a very different note, the hydrangeas in front of Cammett Road are ready to dry. Stay tuned for Monday's update about drying hydrangeas.

Hurricane Bill is a No Show

Cathy, Verna and I are going blueberry picking if the weather stays almost dry. We have planned to bake a pie and make vanilla ice cream on Wed. Unfortunately very few blueberries to pick.

Wed. we will have to bake an apple pie.

WE ALSO VISITED SCOTTIE AND FIONA

The Plot Thickens

This is Liv at her barn in New Hampshire. Of all Dad's grandchildren, she is the one who took up riding seriously. She also stuck with it!

Her passion for horses and other animals is almost equal to her cousin's, my daughter, GIN. So they get to be are the protagonists in my novel. Since I was 12 I have wanted to write "the great American Novel."

This is Virginia with her dog Rocket in her kitchen in Seattle.

Second Post

The essence of this blog...lets see... Knitting, student teaching, fairies, cooking my travail of writing my first novel during Nano November.

Already have the idea ploted, somewhat - from not getting it completed last November. Horse theme: Perhaps like the turtle??? No.

Liv, my niece is the inspiration for the novel. I will probably need her help big TIME.

Next post -
How to get my inspiration outline about the novel on the blog.....

Ok, I like Penguins

Movies have been made, dolls have been stuffed, picture books have illustrated their lives, but the real essence of the penguin, does anyone know?

Why would I dedicate a blog to the incredible, unflappable penguin?

Damm....all of a foofaraw!
